Hi, I’m Dansby. I became a doula because everyone deserves steady, compassionate support during life’s biggest transitions. Pregnancy, birth, and postpartum can be overwhelming, beautiful, and unpredictable — sometimes all at once. My role is to be a calm, grounding presence through it all, offering encouragement, practical comfort measures, and trusted resources to help you feel confident, supported, and cared for.
Outside of birth work, I’m a parent and partner, reminded daily of the strength, humor, and love that shape family life. My journey with them deeply informs how I show up for clients: with respect, openness, and a belief in the power of connection.
In addition to doula work, I bring years of experience as an educator and outdoor leader, along with training as a first responder. These roles have sharpened my ability to stay calm under pressure, respond with skill in unpredictable situations, and hold space for people of all ages and backgrounds — qualities I bring into every birth space.
Supporting Eugene Families Through Pregnancy, Birth & Beyond
As a doula serving Eugene and surrounding areas, I support families through every stage of the journey — from prenatal preparation to labor and postpartum care. I work with diverse families, including partners, adoptive parents, surrogates, and those navigating miscarriage or high-risk pregnancies, providing compassionate, evidence-based guidance every step of the way.
